Associate in Science for Transfer
Program Details
The Associate in Science in Nutrition and Dietetics for Transfer (Nutrition and Dietetics AS-T) is intended for students who plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a similar major at a CSU campus. Students completing the degree are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or major. In addition, this pathway prepares students to minor in Human Lactation at CSU, Northridge. The lactation profession is a rapidly growing sector in the healthcare field, and the demand for lactation professionals is expected to increase. Lactation educators typically work in: Hospitals, Medical groups, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs and Breastfeeding stores.
